50mm Inline Fuel Filter (100 µm, AN6/8/10)

Fuel FiltersCE / ISO 9001

The FJ-FF06-50-RD is a 50mm inline pre-pump fuel filter for high-flow fuel systems. Its cleanable 100 micron stainless steel mesh traps tank debris before it reaches the pump, and AN6, AN8 and AN10 ports fit most custom fuel lines. Mount it between tank and pump on EFI, diesel or racing builds.

❓ FAQ

Inspect and clean the stainless steel mesh every 5,000 miles (8,000 km) or once a year, whichever comes first. The mesh is reusable, so it is cleaned rather than replaced; clean more often if the tank may hold rust or debris.

Yes. The stainless steel mesh and aluminium housing are compatible with gasoline, diesel, E85, methanol and common race fuels; ethanol and methanol do not corrode the element.

Yes. 100 micron is intended for pre-pump use, where it catches debris that would damage the pump while keeping flow high. For pre-injector filtration, add a 10-40 micron filter after the pump.

No. Fittings are sold separately. The body has female AN ports, so you need male AN flare fittings in AN6, AN8 or AN10 to match your fuel line.

Choose the male flare fitting that matches your fuel line diameter: AN6, AN8 or AN10. All three sizes thread into the same 50mm body.

Description

Pre-pump filtration for high-flow fuel systems

The FJ-FF06-50-RD is a 50mm inline fuel filter installed between the fuel tank and the fuel pump. Its 100 micron stainless steel mesh captures tank debris before it reaches the pump, protecting the pump and downstream injectors while keeping pressure drop low on high-flow EFI, diesel and racing systems.

Construction

  • Housing: 50mm aluminium inline body with female AN ports on both ends
  • Media: 100 micron stainless steel mesh, cleanable and reusable
  • Filtration position: pre-pump (between tank and pump)
  • Flow direction: tank to filter to pump, marked on the body
  • Fuel compatibility: gasoline, diesel, E85, methanol and race fuels

Fitment

  • Compatible with AN6, AN8 and AN10 male flare fittings
  • Universal: fits custom fuel cells, EFI conversions, diesel and race fuel systems
  • Fittings are not included; order the male AN flare size that matches your fuel line

Service interval

Inspect and clean the stainless steel element every 5,000 miles (8,000 km) or once a year, whichever comes first. Clean more often when the fuel tank may contain rust or debris. The mesh is reusable, so the element is cleaned, not replaced.

Installation notes

  • Mount the filter before the pump, between tank and pump.
  • Seal AN threads with PTFE paste. Do not use Teflon tape: shredded tape can block injectors.
  • Keep enough clearance to remove the element during maintenance.
  • Add a 10-40 micron filter after the pump for full system protection.
  • Check all connections for leaks before driving.

What is in the box

1 x 50mm inline fuel filter. AN fittings and fuel line are not included.
