Who We Are
We are an automotive parts manufacturer: filters are our main line, and machined auto parts are our second line. Wuhu Youfan Auto Parts Co., Ltd. builds filters as its core business, and also produces machined auto parts — the aluminium and steel components that go with our filters, such as filter heads, housings, end caps, adapters, billet caps and bleeder screws, as well as turned and milled parts made to customer drawings. Both go to the aftermarket and to OEM buyers.
Production runs in two plants in China: filter manufacturing in Ruian, Zhejiang, and aluminium die-casting plus CNC machining in Wuhu, Anhui. Together they cover 15,000 m² of floor space, more than 200 employees and over 20 production lines.
Our export brand is iFJF; fjfilter.com is the company's official site and is not operated as a separate brand.
What We Make
Output from our plants falls into two groups: filters, which are our main line, and machined auto parts, which we make alongside them. Filters account for most of our volume; the parts are produced in the same shop and go through the same dimensional inspection.
Filters — the main line, across thirteen product lines:
- Fuel filters — spin-on, cartridge and fuel/water separator types for diesel and gasoline engines.
- Hydraulic filters — return-line, suction and pressure elements for hydraulic systems.
- Oil filters — full-flow and bypass lube filters built to OEM dimensions for light-, medium- and heavy-duty engines.
- Air filters — primary and safety elements for trucks, off-highway machinery and marine engines.
- Filter accessories — filter heads, housings, end caps, seal kits and adapters.
- Marine filters — fuel filters and water separators for outboard and inboard marine engines.
- Cabin air filters — particle and activated-carbon cabin filters for passenger cars, pickups and trucks.
- Coolant filters — filtration elements for heavy-duty diesel cooling systems.
- CCV filters — crankcase ventilation filters and oil separators for emissions-compliant diesel engines.
- Transmission filters — oil filters for automatic and powershift transmissions.
- Urea filters — filter elements for SCR urea dosing systems.
- Air dryer cartridges — desiccant cartridges for compressed-air brake systems.
- Fuel pumps — electric lift and transfer pumps for diesel fuel systems.
Auto parts — machined and assembled components, made alongside the filter range:
- Filter heads, housings and caps — aluminium, die-cast and then machined; includes billet caps and spacer kits for common diesel applications.
- Adapter heads and conversion connectors — machined interfaces that let one housing take a different element.
- Bleeder screws, filler caps and connectors — small turned parts, supplied both fitted and as service items.
- Brackets, flanges and valve bodies — mounting and fluid-handling parts machined in aluminium or steel.
- Carburettors — carburettor units and their machined components.
Parts in this group are made to order and quoted individually; the filter range above is what we hold in quantity. Machined work to your own drawing is described in the next section.
CNC Machining and Auto Parts
Machining sits alongside filtration rather than behind it. Threads, sealing faces and mating surfaces are cut in our own machine shop, which is why a new housing or adapter does not wait in someone else's queue.
Contract machining is open to outside customers. We take on turned and milled work for other companies as well as for our own assemblies, in aluminium and steel, one-off or repeating.
- Turning and milling — aluminium and steel components on our own machining centres, including threads, sealing faces and close-tolerance bores.
- Billet components — caps, adapter heads and spacer kits machined from solid aluminium, with anodised colour finishes.
- Small metal parts — bleeder screws, filler caps, connectors and mounting hardware.
- Brackets, flanges and valve bodies — mounting brackets, flanges and valve bodies machined to drawing.
- Carburettor components — carburettor units and their machined bodies and parts.
- Non-filter machined parts — machined components outside the filtration range, where the drawing calls for turning, milling or a machined casting.
- Die-cast and machined assemblies — aluminium die-castings finished by CNC where the part needs a machined interface.
- Built to drawing — send a drawing or a sample part; we confirm material and tolerance, quote, run a prototype, then move to production volume.
Parts we machine for our own filter assemblies and parts we machine for customers run on the same machines and go through the same dimensional inspection.
Where Our Parts Fit
The range is built around six application groups:
- Pickups and light commercial vehicles — diesel pickups, vans and light trucks for the North American market and for export.
- Heavy trucks and tractor units — long-haul and distribution trucks, and the diesel engines that power them.
- Construction and off-highway machinery — excavators, wheel loaders, backhoes, telehandlers and compaction equipment.
- Agricultural machinery — tractors, harvesters and the engines fitted to them.
- Marine — outboard and inboard engines on leisure and work boats, including on-board fuel/water separation.
- Industrial hydraulic and compressed-air systems — return-line and suction filtration, and air dryer cartridges for brake systems.
From FJF to iFJF: One Manufacturing Line
The FJF brand was founded in November 2009 with a focus on precision manufacturing. In 2017 it became iFJF, built to serve overseas buyers more directly.
The upgrade did not change how we work: the processes that decide cost and quality stay inside our plant, and products go directly to buyers instead of through layers of distributors.
Our team also runs iFJF's cross-border e-commerce business on Amazon, eBay, AliExpress and our own storefronts. That day-to-day contact with North American and other overseas markets — vehicle fitment, packaging, after-sales expectations — feeds back into what we develop, how we test, and how we pack.
Inside the Plant
The processes that determine delivery capability are kept in our own plants:
- Tooling shop — plastic and die-casting moulds are developed in-house, so a new housing or end cap does not wait behind someone else's project.
- Die-casting and injection moulding — filter heads, housings and adapters are formed on our own die-casting and injection machines; the aluminium die-casting operation is covered by our IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certification.
- CNC machining — dozens of machining centres, turning and milling the metal parts described above.
- SMT line — in-house surface-mount and electronics assembly capability.
- Assembly — elements, housings, seals and labels are assembled and packed in the same plant.
- 3D prototyping — 50 3D printers for fit checks and appearance validation before a mould is cut.
Where We Manufacture
Production runs across two sites, each focused on a different part of the process:
- Filter manufacturing — Zhejiang — No. 388 Huahai Road, Shangma Village, Tangxia Town, Ruian, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China. Media pleating, element assembly, testing and packing of the finished filter.
- Die-casting and CNC machining — Anhui — No. 2, East Kechuang 2nd Road, Anhui Xinwu Economic Development Zone, Wanzhi District, Wuhu, Anhui, China. Aluminium die-casting of filter heads and housings, plus CNC machining of threads and sealing faces.
How Quality Is Controlled
Threads, sealing faces and filter media decide whether a filter leaks or flows — so we measure them rather than estimate:
- Coordinate measuring machines (CMM) — dimensional verification of housings and threaded connections.
- Optical emission spectrometers — material composition testing for incoming metal.
- Flaw detection — crack and porosity inspection of castings.
Production runs follow the sample approved by the buyer, and every batch ships with inspection records. Our aluminium die-casting production is certified to IATF 16949:2016 (Automotive Quality Management System) and ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System); the certificates are held by Wuhu Youfan Auto Parts Co., Ltd., and the certified scope is the manufacture of aluminium alloy die-casting products.
Capacity, Lead Time and Flexibility
With more than 20 production lines and a team of over 200, we can meet most customers' regular capacity requirements.
Standard mass-production lead time is about 45 days. For single-item orders above 10,000 units, please contact us so we can discuss the delivery schedule against current production loading.
Some products are kept in white-label stock; we can print the customer's brand and ship, shortening the wait for custom orders.
How We Work With Buyers
- OEM / ODM — use your brand, packaging and specifications, or work with us from industrial and structural design through tooling, mass production and packed shipment.
- Customer-brand production — we support customer-branded products and packaging. Orders involving a customer brand require written brand authorization before production starts.
- Flexible MOQ — start with a small trial batch, then scale to container volume.
- Quotation within 72 hours — send an OEM number or a photo of the old filter; we confirm the match and quote.
- Sample first, then mass production — production and export documents are arranged after sample approval.
