PF659 fits Jaguar 3.0L V6 and 5.0L V8 models including the F-Pace, F-Type, XE, XF, XJ, XK and XKR, and Land Rover models including the Defender 110, LR4, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Velar. Years run from 2010 to 2020 depending on the model.

PF659 crosses to MAHLE HU8008Z, MANN-FILTER CH10992, Purolator L36290, WIX 57279, Jaguar 8W93-6A692-AC and C2D 3670, and Land Rover LR011279. All of these are the same pleated cartridge element.

PF659 traps 98% of harmful particles including carbon, dust and metal debris. The pleated cellulose media holds that efficiency across a service interval of up to 10,000 miles.

One O-ring is supplied with the element. Lubricate it before fitting, tighten the filter housing to 25 Nm (18 ft-lb) and the drain plug to 23 Nm (17 ft-lb).

A clogged element stops filtering effectively, so debris generated inside the engine keeps circulating and mechanical wear accelerates. Changing the element at the recommended interval is what keeps the 98% capture rate meaningful.
