❓ FAQ

The Davco 380 fuel processor. The element is the replacement cartridge for that housing, so the processor itself, its lid and the heater stay on the truck when the element is changed.

FF5369W is the current number and FF5369 the earlier one listed on Fleetguard's replacement line. The W marks the version supplied with its seals; both bring the same 97 by 178.5 mm element.

No. Two O-rings for the element come in the box, but the service gasket that seats against the housing body is a separate part. Inspect the old one and renew it if it is flat or cut.

Yes, where the truck carries the Davco 380 processor. The element is listed for Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Sterling and Volvo trucks with that housing, and fitment follows the housing rather than the engine.

Fill the housing with clean diesel or run the primer until resistance is felt, then start the engine and let it idle while you check the lid and the drain for leaks.

Description

Product Overview

FF5369W is a fuel water separator element with a 97 mm (3.82 in) outside diameter, a 178.5 mm (7.03 in) overall height and a 16.8 mm (0.66 in) end bore, built as the replacement cartridge for the Davco 380 fuel processor. It sits in the housing between the tank and the engine, taking water and grit out before either reaches the fuel system.

Key Features

Drops into the Davco 380 housing — the cartridge replaces the element already in that processor, so the housing, its lid and the heater stay on the truck.
Metal shell with rolled seams — the body holds up to the pressure the processor puts on it through cold starts and heat cycles without weeping at the seam.
Two O-rings supplied — the seals at the top and bottom of the element ship in the box, which is where a reused ring starts passing fuel.
Catches water before the pump — the media coalesces free water into droplets that drop into the bowl, so the pump and injectors see fuel rather than an emulsion.
One element across five truck makes — Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Sterling and Volvo all use this cartridge in the 380 processor.
