S3213 Marine Fuel Water Separator Element, 10 Micron, 1-Pack
Replacement 10-micron cartridge for the FJFilter upgraded S3213 fuel water separator housing, supplied as one element with its O-ring. It seats inside the aluminium housing behind the retaining collar, so a service costs one cartridge instead of a whole spin-on filter. Fits the upgraded S3213 / S3214 housing only, not a stock Mercury or Yamaha filter head.

❓ FAQ
No. This cartridge fits only the FJFilter upgraded S3213 housing (FJ-WSFF01-ZH1). A stock head takes a sealed spin-on filter such as Mercury 35-60494-1; the upgraded housing is what makes a cartridge change possible.
Every 100 engine hours, or at least once a season. Shorten the interval if fuel is stored for long periods or if the bowl collects water quickly.
One fuel-resistant O-ring is included with each element. Fit a new one at every change; a hardened or flattened O-ring is a common source of leaks at the collar.
The housing suits petrol outboards and sterndrives with 3/8 in NPT fuel lines, including Mercury, Mariner, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda and Tohatsu outboards, and replaces the spin-on units cross-referenced as 35-60494-1, 35-807172, 18-7932-1 and S3213.
10 micron is the usual rating for outboard and sterndrive petrol systems: fine enough to hold tank sediment and emulsified water, coarse enough to keep fuel flowing at wide-open throttle. Finer media belongs to high-pressure common-rail diesels, not these engines.

Description
Product Overview
This is the service cartridge for the FJFilter upgraded S3213 marine fuel water separator, not a spin-on canister. The element is rated at 10 micron and measures 3.5 in (89 mm) across by 2.76 in (70 mm) high; it seats inside the powder-coated aluminium housing of the FJ-WSFF01-ZH1 separator, behind the retaining collar, and ships with a fresh O-ring. One cartridge restores a full service interval on petrol outboards, sterndrives and inboards running the upgraded S3213 housing. It does not screw onto a stock Mercury, Yamaha or Sierra S3213 head, which takes a sealed spin-on filter.

Part numbers above identify the complete spin-on separators that the FJFilter upgraded housing replaces. This cartridge is the service element for that housing, not a direct spin-on substitute; check the housing fitted to your engine before ordering.
