FB1311 is a fuel filter base machined from solid aluminium billet, sized 91.3 mm (3 19/32 in) across and weighing 280 g, with 7/8-14 UNF-2B inlet and outlet ports, a 1-14 UNS-2A element thread and 3/8-16 UNC-2B bracket holes. It is the mounting head that a spin-on diesel filter screws onto, and because it is cut from billet rather than cast, the port threads and the element thread hold their form under repeated filter changes. It replaces 142784S and 256348S.
