❓ FAQ
Inspect it every 15,000 miles and replace it every 30,000-45,000 miles under normal duty. In dusty, off-road or construction conditions, shorten the interval to 10,000-15,000 miles.
It fits 2017-2019 Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450 Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel. Check the part number on the old element or in the owner's manual to confirm.
It states the smallest particle size the media is designed to capture. The multi-layer pleated media captures 99.9% of particles 10 micron and larger before they reach the turbocharger.
Yes. A restricted filter raises vacuum at the turbocharger inlet, which can pull oil past the turbo seals and lead to oil consumption, blue exhaust smoke and bearing wear. Replacing the element on schedule protects the turbo.
Open the air box clips, lift the lid and remove the old element. Wipe loose debris from the box, seat the new FA-1927 flat, check that the perimeter seal touches the lid all the way around, then close the clips. No tools or modification are needed.
Description
Drop-in air filter for the 6.7L Power Stroke
The FA-1927 is the panel engine air filter used on 2017-2019 Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450 Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel. It sits in the factory air box and is held by the original lid, so no adapters, cutting or tuning are needed. The multi-layer pleated media filters the intake charge to 10 micron and captures 99.9% of particles 10 micron and larger before the air reaches the turbocharger.

Installation notes
- Release the air box clips and lift the original lid.
- Note the orientation of the old element before removing it.
- Wipe loose debris from the air box with a damp cloth. Do not use compressed air on the media.
- Seat the new element flat in the box and make sure the seal contacts the lid all the way around.
- Close the clips and confirm the lid sits flush. An unsealed lid lets unfiltered air bypass the element.
What is in the box
